Hi, I’m Nadia.

Hello, my name is Nadia. I was born in Russia, but my design career really began in the Bay Area. Moving here gave me the chance to start over and pursue a creative career I had never quite imagined was possible for me. I studied Industrial Design, fell in love with making physical things, and eventually discovered CMF, the part of design that felt most naturally like me.

I’m endlessly curious about color, materials, finishes, and the small details that can completely change how an object is perceived. I love the space where creativity meets manufacturing: translating an idea, a feeling into something tangible, then working through the realities of materials, processes, suppliers until it becomes real.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to design everything from autonomous vehicles to consumer electronics and accessories. What continues to excite me about CMF is how many worlds it brings together: design, storytelling, psychology, culture, and engineering. A color is never just a color, and a finish can completely change how something feels.

Outside of work, I’m still very much a designer and a maker. I’m usually somewhere in the middle of an interior project, making a piece of furniture, working on a painting, or taking a ceramics or glassblowing class. Making things is my therapy. It grounds me, keeps me curious, and genuinely makes me happy.

I believe the best design makes people feel something, even if they can’t quite explain why. And that’s the kind of work I want to keep making.
